These earrings were inspired by my jewelry I would wear to Garba during Navrati. What is Garba? Garba is a type of dance that originated in the state of Gujarat, India where it celebrates the feminine form of divinity. My favorite part about Garba is not just the dancing, but the festive, colorful clothing and jewelry that is worn and I wanted to make a pair of earrings that emphasizes that. These lightweight jhumka earrings will allow you dance the night away without having to  worry about ears stretching from the heaviness of regular Desi jewelry!
